This is the original drawing by me of Raven a.k.a. Rachel Roth created by Marv Wolfman & George Perez.

Completed for Inktober 2014, a drawing project focused on improving drawing & inking techniques that are key to comic books.

I came across Raven during my own Goth phase, so of course I related to her more than any of the other Teen Titans. I loved to inhabit the mindset of a Raven-esque character so I could find a way to bring her peace. Life loves to bring you back to those emotionally difficult moments but Raven always has the strength to fight through that and, you know, the demons from beyond.
